How do the British Royal Family feel about us ... commoners, how do they see us?

As other respondents have already alluded to, they see commoners (aka the British taxpayers) as the funding source for their extravagant lifestyles -- lifestyles for a bygone era that have no place whatsoever in the modern day and age. A travesty. Let's hope it all dies out when QE2 passes on.
