Why is the British benefits system so unfair?

I live alone in a flat but unfortunately I suffer from a debilitating hereditary condition that has left me obese and I now weigh in excess of 40 stone which has left me housebound. I am supported by a carer who visits me for 5 hours a day and I am in receipt of benefits payments. Last week I was told by my local authority that my care is being cut to one hour a day and my benefits are being cut to 80% of their previous levels. Life seems so unfair, it's not my fault that I can't stop eating, I like eating so why should I stop?
